Editor's Favorites/Recommendations

Hello lovely readers! Please forgive the absence of the HTML, but I did not feel like doing that today.

Today's post consists of my July favorites, and some recommendations. So, with that said, let's get to it!

The first July favorite I am going to talk about is Now I Knew You by Ron Estrada. Now this book is a supernatural/paranormal themed book, with a dash of romance, as the author himself explains.
This book follows Josh Baker, a high school student who is the best runner on the track team. Josh gets into a fatal car crash, shortly after his long term girlfriend, Lindsey, breaks up with him, for what reason, he does not know. And Josh has an out-of-body experience, where he takes a visit to Heaven and see his grandmother who had passed away a couple years before. Josh also meets a young girl, who is only four years old, and he finds comfort in her company, and she reminds him of someone, but he cannot put his finger on it. Josh then returns to his body, given a second chance at life, in which he must try and fix three things. He does not fully know what those things are, but as the story goes on, they slowly manifest themselves. Josh wakes up in the hospital, only to learn that he has a 50/50 chance that he will ever walk/run again. However, the feeling in his legs return over the course of a couple of weeks, and he eventually starts to walk again.

I will not give away the ending. If you want to know what happens, you will have to read it yourself. you can find this book posted on Wattpad, as well as for sale online through Amazon, B&N, Book Depository, and The Book Outlet. I have a review of this book posted on my blog. If you would like to check that out, just CLICK HERE. I HIGHLY recommend you read this book. It is in fact, a teen, YA read. It is also the first book in the Cherry Hill series, which can be read as a stand-alone. There is another book in the series, as well as the third book in the making.

Another July favorite is actually a YouTuber called StyledByKaylzXO. Kayla is a very laid kind of girl, and she posts mainly about make-up, but on occasion she will post her favorite music, or books and so on. I enjoy watching her a lot. I stumbled upon her channel while searching for new make-up tips/tricks. She is really cool, so you should totally check out her channel, which is linked in her username above.

My final favorite/recommendation is MisLiterali.com - This website is affiliated with J-14.com, and consists of fan fictions and other stories by aspiring authors from various places and countries. You will find writing contests, giveaways and other awesome content when you visit. Winners of the writing contest receive copies of books on which the contests are based. I recently participated in three contests, of each were based on Paper Towns by John Green, Siren's Fury by Mary Weber. The third one, I forgot the name of and I am waiting for the site to finish undergoing maintenance so that I can add the name.

My final recommendation consists of to really cool websites. The first is call YA Bound Book Tours. If you are a book blogger, and you want to participate in book tours, blitzes, cover reveals, and giveaways, this is one of the best places to go for content.
Another good place to get such content is Xpresso Book Tours. This site is actually a little more complex, but they include e-ARCs, as well as print copies, of books available for book bloggers to review. Some reviews are involved in tours, but they do have other books that you can review in your own time before a set deadline. (Which are always a couple months away.)

Well, this has been my July favorites/recommendations. I hope liked reading this post. Be sure to check out everyone I have mentioned. You will love what you find.

Have a #BLESSED day!
